Happy Mother’s Day to any moms out there! Hope everyone is doing well. School work has been quite overwhelming lately, which explains the inactivity. I can’t wait until the summer… I have so many goals I want to follow through with, like learning how to play the guitar, fixing up the webbie, exercising more.

Anyway, I had better be getting to bed. I’ve noticed that the week starts off much worse if I go to bed late on a Monday. Luckily this is a short week for me; it’s a non-instructional day on Friday!

I’m back from my Disneyland band trip! I’m drowning in the work right now, and I can’t blog for too long. The trip has made my schedule wacky, and I’m still trying to set it on track. I will post pictures as soon as I can!

It’s beginning to look a lot more like Spring nowadays. Apparently yesterday was the warmest day in six months; it was a toasty 20 degrees. That’s in Celsius, if you didn’t know . All the school work is starting to get to me, though, and I’ve decided to try very hard not to procrastinate. I say that a lot, mind you.

Anyway, it’s all good even if the weather over here in rainy Vancouver is not up to par. As long as it doesn’t rain in LA, life is great. Yes, you read correctly. I will be going to California very, very soon–T-minus 2 and a half sleeps. The ‘half’ of a sleep refers to the night before my trip in which I will have to wake up at two or three in the morning to get to the airport by 4:30 AM.

As you probably guessed, Disneyland is my destination. I am going with my school band, and I will be leaving on Wednesday (in the very, very, very early) morning. We’ll be spending five days and four nights there, and we will actually be playing our instruments in the park. I can’t wait!
